When we decided to lease a studio space in Prescott, I wanted it to be a beautiful backdrop for the art and aesthetic that embodies Lasting Images. Our brand colors are black, white, gold, and a dark indigo blue. Sounds easy to achieve, right? Absolutely not. Ten shades of blue samples in, and I was no closer to the shade I needed. Some were too bright, too purple, too green, just not the shade I was envisioning. I happened to run into a friend at church during this process who mentioned their recent kitchen remodel, and the fantastic color consultant they used. Yes, please!! That’s what I needed - a color consultant!

Suzanne Adams, owner of 365 Design Solutions came to the rescue! As I described what I was looking for at our first meeting, she said “oh, I think you’re looking for SW Sea Serpent.” Sure enough, it was the PERFECT shade of dark blue. We used that color to drench our sales room and created several feature walls for my work that look amazing with all of our furniture and wall art. She also helped us select the right white, trim color, Jeff’s office color, and the correct sheen of paint for each. Color me happy!

Suzanne’s fun, bubbly personality makes every meeting a party - I couldn’t wait to work with her again! Luckily, I was asked to create her new personal branding images which capture so much of what she loves to do. This year we took on a whole house remodel and needed interior and exterior colors. I didn’t hesitate to call Suzanne, and she didn’t disappoint! I absolutely love the process of selecting the correct colors for a space, taking into account the light, flooring, undertones from cabinets and countertops, and so many other factors that come naturally to a professional. Once we narrowed it down, Suzanne ordered large color samples for us to hang on the walls and confirm our choices. They arrived within a day or two, and after viewing them, I knew that our favorites were going to be perfect. 

Painting isn’t one of my favorite things to do. I don’t want to make mistakes that I’m going to regret or have to redo. Hiring a professional designer over the past thirty years in both TX and AZ has saved me so much money, time, and heartache.  I recommend bringing in a trusted expert for things you don’t specialize in - like a photographer for those essential images that need to be done right. For the incredibly important task of creating a space you are going to live and work in, I couldn’t recommend Suzanne more - you’re going to love her!
